2018年に設計したモノレール山麓駅に隣接する団体待合通路である。山麓駅改築後、さらに観光客が増加したことで団体旅行客の通路を設計する必要があった。ここでは日本海側の冬場の悪天候に対応する必要があることや、夏の猛暑でも安心して通行できることが求められた。団体待合通路では鉄骨フレームに開閉式のテントを設置し、環境変化に応じて形態を変えられる空間としている。空間温度を下げるために、軒先と棟のラインにはミストを導入し、熱中症のリスクを軽減できるようにしている。またモノレールのメンテナンス時には、工作物を解体できるよう取り外し可能な構造にしている。

This is a group waiting corridor adjacent to the Monorail station at Amanohashidate View Land, designed in 2018. Following the renovation of the base station, the number of tourists increased further, necessitating the design of a corridor for group travelers. Therefore, it was necessary to ensure a safe passageway that could withstand the harsh winter climate on the Sea of Japan side while also being safe to use during the scorching summer heat. The group waiting corridor employs a steel frame with a retractable tent, creating a space that can provide shade depending on the changing environment. Mist is sprayed along the eaves and roof lines to lower the temperature and reduce the risk of heatstroke. Furthermore, it is designed to be removable so that it can be dismantled during monorail maintenance.
