与謝野町では瓦の切妻屋根が多く残っており、今でもちりめんを織るはた織り機の音が響き渡る。この地域で設計するにあたって、新しく仲間入りする気持ちで地域の形に習い切妻屋根のシンプルな形を継承することにした。プランは中廊下を軸としているのため、玄関から居間まで風が通り抜ける。階段を中央に配置し共働き夫婦の家事動線が短くなるようにしている。

Yosano-cho have many tile roofs and sound of weaving machine for weaving kimono. This time I decided to inherit the simple shape of the gable roof from the local shape. The plan is centered on the corridor, the wind will pass from the entrance to the living room.The stairs are arranged in the center to shorten the housework line of the working couple.
