姫路市郊外にあるデザイナー夫婦の住宅とデザイン事務所である。生活と仕事の程よい距離感を保つためにL型プランを採用し、田園風景側を住宅、道路側に事務所を配置した。住宅は木と漆喰の暖かみある空間とし、事務所は二人のデスクスペースからの眺めを考えて、開放感ある吹抜空間をつくり、そこへ薪ストーブを設置した。休日はセカンドリビングとして使うこともでき、新しい職住一体のかたちを提案した。

The house and the design office for designers couple in the suburbs of Himeji City.

In order to maintain distance between life and work, we adopted L-shaped plan, with a house on the rural landscape side and an office on the road side. A house was warm space of wood and plaster, and an office has an atrium in the view from the desk space of two people and install a stove. It can also be used as a second living room on holidays, proposing a new home office.
