新年を迎えて、1月4日にアトリエスタッフとOB、橘大学の卒業生と恒例の建築めぐり。
今年は明日香村へ。村野藤吾設計の橿原神宮前駅からはじまり、建築の話をしながらぶらりと行き先を決めます。
最近は下調べをせず建築をみて、その時の感覚や感情を大切にするようになりました。知識から得たことより、感覚から得たことの方が自分自身の感性が刺激される気がします。明日香村を歩きながら、飛鳥宮跡、飛鳥寺、川原寺、橘寺、石舞台古墳、橿原神宮などを見てまわりました。
今年も建築づくしの年になりそうですね。
[Asuka Village]
To mark the new year, on January 4th We went on my annual architecture tour with atelier staff, alumni, and Tachibana University graduates. This year we went to Asuka Village. We started at Kashiharajingu-mae Station, designed by Togo Murano, and decided on our destination while talking about architecture.
Recently, I've come to value the sensations and emotions I feel when I see architecture without doing any prior research. I feel that my sensibilities are stimulated more by what I gain from my senses than by what I gain from knowledge. While walking around Asuka Village, we saw the Asuka Palace ruins, Asukadera Temple, Kawaradera Temple, Tachibanadera Temple, Ishibutai Tomb, Kashiharajingu, and more. It looks like this year will be full of architecture again.
